The "Law" of Attraction?

I couldn't believe it. I almost jumped up and shouted hallelujah! There I was in the middle of a professional speakers' convention when one of the keynoters, asked a question, something like this: If we're going to talk about the "law of attraction," shouldn't we first make sure there is such a law? Only a few of us laughed and clapped- perhaps because the LOA has been a pretty good money maker this year. And why not? Telling people they can be and do anything they imagine if they just send out enough vibes into the universal consciousness, whatever that is, is pretty flattering and makes people feel good, so they buy your stuff. 'Course it's crap, but make me feel good and I'll buy anything.
